Magnificent transformation of a house of gloomy spaces into a house full of light and life

This contemporary style extension was designed to complement the original attractive Edwardian building. The original house had individual rooms without views, or any connection to, the rear garden.

the extension doubled the size of the property and the renovated front elevation greatly enhanced its kerb appeal

The large open plan extension with its large roof lantern transformed the dark rooms into a space that is a joy to live in.

The cladding is charred in the traditional Japenese Shou Shugi Ban method to give a beautiful and distinctive long-lasting finish that requires minimum maintenance.
